FIVE INFRARED HEATED
GLASS CHANDELIERS

An innovative project

This monumental ensemble of five heated glass chandeliers is the result of close collaboration with the municipality, the architect and the Regional Conservation of Historic Monuments in order to meet the expectations of aesthetics, comfort and preservation of the protected furniture.

Highlighting the architecture

The elegance and simplicity of the design of the chandeliers combined with the finesse of the glass work required an innovative design of the heating elements to integrate them harmoniously into the luminaires.

Users' comfort

The sensation of warmth is immediate, and radiants are only lit during celebrations and events. The annual cost is therefore lower than other usual heating systems (fan, underfloor, etc.). The height of positioning avoids the sensation of "hot head / cold feet".

This system is also silent.

Preservation of ancient artworks

Heating by infrared radiation does not modify the hygrometry of the place and does not cause any air convection which could be detrimental to the protected furniture (organs, paintings, gilded and polychrome woods).

An exceptional glass work

More than six months of uninterrupted firing were necessary to produce the hundred of thermoformed and curved glass elements that make up the chandeliers' coronas
